Sonya is owned & operated by Sercan Ugurlu, the chef brains behind the Megan’s operation. Sercan was responsible for creating the menu, which Megan’s is so known & loved for today; Posh kebabs, shakshouka & more. And now, he brings you his very own independent restaurant, alongside Iskren Slavkov, the first ever Megan’s General Manager.
Both Sercan & Iskren used to work in the first ever Megan’s, where Sonya is now homed, so they both have a very sentimental connection to this homely, higgildy piggildy building, which is brimming with charm. Request a seat in the garden & you will understand why…
Sonya brings an elevated Turkish & Greek menu, with whole steaks, grilled fish, fresh salads & more. It is a fusion of flavours, with cocktails to match.
