Sonya offers the best outdoor dining at King’s Road, Chelsea. Our secret garden allows you to enjoy the sunshine when the weather allows and provides shelter with its retractable roof when the weather is not so good. 

Join us and experience outdoor dining at its best with our Aegean inspired food and drinks. Our garden is open all day every day. Enjoy our all day brunch during the day, and elegant dinner dining after 5 pm. 

Our goal is to provide an excellent experience to each one of our guests, and believe that the setting, atmosphere & ambiance are a key factor to it, so we would like to invite you to our garden to experience it for yourself.

We serve all-day brunch every day until 5pm. Try the Sonya hot smoked salmon with avocado, wilted greens & poached eggs. We hot smoke our own salmon & it is tender & delicious.

Or if you want something indulgent, the saganaki toastie is our take on a grilled cheese toastie, coated in honey & topped with crushed pistachios. Add some treacle glazed, thick-cut, free range bacon for the perfect sweet & salty combination.

Or if you have a sweet tooth, try the banana & tahini butter pancakes, topped with blueberries & date molasses. Here at Sonya Restaurant we have something for everyone. Come and see for yourself if we serve the best brunch on King’s Road.

Fishy Fridays

Enjoy whole Turbot or Seabass (1.5kg each) every Friday at Sonya. Preorder either the Turbot or the Seabass by 5 pm on Thursdays and join us on Friday evenings.

Turbot to share: A showstopping centrepiece, turbot has a delicate taste that can be described as mildly sweet, finished with brown butter. Preorder our Turbot to share for £110.00 (1.5kg to 2kg). Serves 2 – 4 as a main, side dishes ordered separately.

Wild seabass to share: This delicately flavoured fish with a subtle sweetness retains its buttery texture when cooked on our charcoal grill using a fish cage, a traditional bit of kit that clamps around the fish and allows us to turn over the seabass on an open flame. Preorder our Seabass for £90 (1.5kg to 2kg).

Big-cuts Saturdays

Enjoy Big-cuts Saturday at Sonya, with selection of high welfare steaks.

Preorder any of the following specials to enjoy during our Big Cut Saturday Nights, all served with a complimentary bottle of Aegean wine*.

Our HG Walter steaks are all grass-fed and aged for a minimum of 40 days in a Himalayan salt room, matured for distinctive flavour*

Order by 5 pm on Friday, by using our Big-cut Saturdays booking type and specify the big cut you would like to preorder in the comments (all big cuts serve 2/4 people).

Who is the team behind sonya?

Originally from Turkey, he qualified top of the class in 2009 from Le Cordon Blu. Sercan has worked in the London Fine Dining circuit for 10 years, including three restaurants in the world’s 100 Best restaurants list (The Ledbury, Le Gavroche).

Iskren grew up in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, one of the oldest cities in Europe. His mother’s family hails from Varna on the Black Sea coast – famous for its fishing and diverse eateries given the history of the Greek, Roman, and Ottoman empires which used it as a trading point and left the footprints of their cuisines behind.

Iskren has worked in the London food scene since the age of 19 and now hopes to showcase the warm hospitality which Bulgaria offers, to London.
